The sauce is the best thing on the menu. If the cheese matched it, this would be a serious contender.
Tacconelli's Pizzeria
A Philadelphia institution. The pepperoni is genuinely excellent — but the legacy is working overtime to carry the rest of the menu.
Paulie Gee's Slice Shop
The best value on the list. Chaotic 1980s interior, honest prices, and a Mootz slice worth going out of your way for.
Pizzeria Beddia
The best pizza in America comes on a picnic bench. The mushroom and sausage alone is worth the trip.
Sorellina
Excellent dough, inconsistent kitchen. The Diavolo is a must-order; the rest of the experience leaves room to grow.
